
Davidson County Schools Summer Symposium 2026 - Pre-registration is required to attend.
REGISTRATION will open June 1, 2026, at 8:00 am
Registration will close on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 4:30 PM. After that time, new registrations will not be accepted.
Event Details
•Pre-registration is required to attend any session.•All sessions are in person.
• You may modify or delete your session selections up until the registration deadline.
Attendance: Full-day attendance is defined as six sessions, 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
Participants not attending the full day must either:• Return to their school during non-session times to complete workday duties, or
•Take approved leave for non-session times.
•If travel time prevents returning to your school, the media center will be available between sessions. A remote
sign-in roster will be located in the media center; please sign in during your media center time.
•All sign-in rosters will be shared with schools so they can account for staff not in their building.
BT1 Teachers:
•BT1 teachers are required to attend the summer symposium for the entire day. Please register for sessions in all six time slots.Parking:
Attendees are requested to park at the rear of the school and enter through the gymnasium commons area to streamline the process and minimize additional work for the front office staff.
Doors open at 7:30 AM (enter through the rear of the school at the gymnasium commons area)
Check-In Information:
•The check-in table opens at 7:30 AM in the gymnasium commons and will remain open all day.•All participants must check in and pick up their printed schedule and symposium name badge.
•Presenters must check in and receive their presenter folder.
•Lunch Break 10:50-12:00 (1 hour 10 minutes)
CEU Credits:
•Participants can potentially earn 1 hour of CEU credit for each full session attended.•You must complete the remote sign-in roster provided during your attended session to earn your CEU credit.
•The Curriculum Department will submit all CEU credits for the Summer Symposium based on the remote sign-in rosters. You will NOT add these CEU’s to the timekeeper; they will be handled by the Curriculum Department.
•If you have any issues with the sign-in roster, see Ms. Potter immediately at her table in front of the media center. Any remote sign-in issues must be resolved on the day of the event.
Technology Requirements:
•Current DCS employees: Bring your assigned DCS laptop; you will need it to complete remote sign-in rosters, and some sessions require a laptop.•New district employees without an assigned DCS laptop will check out a Chromebook for the day. Chromebook checkouts will be handled in the back right-hand corner of the media center. Map:
